This week has been quite a FULL WEEK ofactivities.
My field education advisor Rev. Dr. Polk was here this week so our host showed us so many wonderful things in Rwanda.
I am thankful to Mrs. Rose (to the left), who is the founder of Association Mwana Ukundwa and is also my gracious host. I had a chance to meet the staff for Association Mwana Ukundwa in Butare and in Kigali. I met many of the children I nwill be working with during their choir and dance presentations. I met several of the women I will be working with during home visitations and in the fields where they were farming. I also saw groups of women engaged in small business enterprise activities sponsored by Association Mwana Ukundwa as they were making straw baskets or soap. I also visited Lake Kivu spending a few hours on the water. We went to the National Museum of Rwanda in Butare and also visited a memorial genocide location near Kigali.
Peace, Love, and Blessings,
Angie
